Moore’s Creek Bridge National Battlefield
Hello fellow History and Travel Lovers!
I’m thrilled to share my latest adventure—a journey into North Carolina’s revolutionary past at Moore’s Creek Bridge Battlefield.
This historic site commemorated its 249th anniversary with programs that helped pay tribute to the bravery and spirit of the men and women who helped create our nation during the American Revolution.

A Historic Landmark Reimagined
Nestled in the heart of North Carolina’s coastal plain, Moore’s Creek Battlefield is more than just a patch of land—it’s a portal back to February 27, 1776, when patriot forces scored a decisive victory against the Loyalists.
This battle, often celebrated as one of the first major successes for the American cause in the South, set the stage for a revolution that would change the world.
The annual anniversary program transforms the quiet park into a dynamic living history event. From the crack of musket fire to the crackling of campfires and the sound of marching feet, these Revolutionary War enthusiasts gather to bring history to life.
