As you know, I write about about historical destinations and pretty much all things “old.” Antique hunting is one of my favorite past times. It’s not only the thrill of finding a treasure somewhere, but also the thrill of the hunt itself.
But every now and then I run into an item that I would never allow in my house.
Don’t know what I mean? Check these out.
What do you think?
I rarely visit an antique store without running across at least one item that makes me shake my head.
Maybe not creepy, but these two doll babies are definitely “sad.”
But there’s more!
Okay, some of these are kind of cute, in a strange, creepy kind of way. But I still wouldn’t feel comfortable walking by them in my house.
Especially NOT AN ELF! 👇👇👇

I learned while writing this post that there are people who are afraid of antiques. It even has a name: Epiplaphobia.
The term encompasses people who fear certain types of furniture, as well as those who are specifically afraid of antiques.
See you next week!
