It's fun to visit a historic town and see buildings where history was made, but it’s even better when can sleep in them!
Pictured above is just a sampling of the Bed and Breakfasts in and around Gettysburg.
Pictured from left is:
The Gettysburg Academy B&B (A girl's school and Civil War hospital)
The Brafferton Inn in downtown Gettysburg (built in the late 1700s)
The Farnsworth House (one of the town's most haunted buildings)
The Dobbin House (underground railroad and Civil War Hospital)
The Inn on Lincoln Square (one door down from where President Lincoln spent the night before delivering the Gettysburg Address
The Brickhouse Inn, a post-Civil War Victorian.
I thought I would use this space to add extra photos that don’t make it into my posts on Past Lane Travels or show “behind the scenes” shots of destinations I visit.
This one is a little last-minute because of the holidays, but I wanted to showcase the wide range of historical buildings in Gettysburg.
I go into more detail in the post Find the Perfect Gettysburg Bed and Breakfast.
