Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum
The Gettysburg Seminary served as a key location during the Battle of Gettysburg, witnessing some of the warās most intense fighting and later functioning as a field hospital.
The museum not only chronicles the military history of the area but also explores the broader human stories of faith, freedom, and the fight for equality.
In addition to amazing museum exhibits, visitors can also get a tour of the iconic Cupola, where General John Buford observed Confederate troop movements on the first day of the battle.
There are few places on earth where you can stand in the exact spot where such major decisions were madeā¦ decisions that shaped the course of history.

If you're intrigued by Civil War medical history, this site is a perfect complement to The National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD.
This museum highlights the medical innovations that took place during war, and the hardships that soldiers endured.

(23,000 soldiers were killed, wounded or missing after twelve hours of combat).
Gettysburg and the Antietam Battlefield are a little more than an hour apart, so itās possible to do both of these historical destinations in one day.

Old-Time Wisdom
Need to clean windows and get them streak-free? Try this old-time cleaning tip.
Ingredients:
1 cup of white vinegar
1 cup of water
Instructions:
Mix equal parts white vinegar and water in a spray bottle.
Shake to combine.
Spray the mixture onto the glass surface.
Use a lint-free cloth or crumpled newspaper to wipe the glass. Newspaper is great because it leaves a streak-free shine without lint.
For extra tough spots, you can use a bit of baking soda on a damp cloth to scrub, then follow with the vinegar solution.
This method was commonly used before the advent of chemical cleaners, and it's still effective today for getting a streak-free shine on windows!
