I traveled to Middleburg VA last week for two upcoming stories and took time to stop for some antique hunting in Luckett’s Va. If you’ve never heard of this little crossroads town northern Virginia, I’m sure you’re not alone.
But if you like antiques, you should put it on your bucket list.
There are two main antique stores right across the road from each other.
Both are historic buildings, and both have THREE FLOORS of home furnishings and antiques.
You can spend hours between these two buildings because the rooms just keep going and going and going.
The Garden Center
The Old Lucketts Store has added more outside of their main building, and that is where most of their antiques are now.
The inside has lots of home furnishings and beautiful settings to give you ideas for decorating different rooms of your house.
I loved the garden center, which had everything from plants to hangers, pots, chairs, tables…and even an old VW used as a planter.
The Cottage
The Cottage antique store on the other side of Route 15 has a wide variety of things as well.
Every room is different. From knobs and knit items to vintage clothing, hats
It’s worth a visit!
